Import your AMC Stubs ticket history, Screen Unseen included
Turn every AMC ticket you have bought into a film diary entry, with Screen Unseen mystery screenings matched to the film that actually played.
Bring in your ticket history
- On a computer, sign in at amctheatres.com and open My AMC → Order History.
- Save the page with ⌘S (Ctrl+S on Windows), choosing “Webpage, HTML Only”. Do it once for each year in the year filter.
- In Reelist, open Sources → AMC and drop all the saved files at once.
Saving overlapping years is fine: tickets are matched up by their confirmation number, so none is logged twice. Drop fresh saves any time and entries update in place.
What you get
- Every ticket as a diary entry, dated the night of the showing.
- Screen Unseen and Scream Unseen mystery screenings logged as the film that actually played, tagged screen-unseen. A week that hasn’t been added to Reelist yet waits for you to pick the film.
- A ticket for a showing still to come sits at the top of your diary until the night, then asks how it was.
Food orders, membership charges and refunded tickets are skipped. If you already logged that night’s film another way (from Letterboxd, say), the ticket is marked as already in your diary instead of adding a second entry.
How it knows which film
AMC’s history gives a title, a date and a running time, but no year. Reelist looks for the film that was in cinemas around that date and checks the running time against it, which AMC lists to within a minute. Anything it can’t settle that way waits for one click rather than being guessed.
New tickets, with Siri
On an iPhone, two Shortcuts handle tickets as you buy them. With the ticket on screen in the AMC app, say “Log my ticket” and the showing goes straight into your diary; “Cancel my ticket” takes it back out. Sources → AMC has the key and the steps to build them.
Checked against Reelist on 8 November 2026.
